Live Life Well-Being Centre & Social Enterprises is set to develop a new outdoor recreation space at the Grove Activity Centre in Lisburn, creating an inclusive facility for young adults with learning disabilities. The project is supported by PEACEPLUS; a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) The project will transform the land between the Grove building and the existing playground into a safe, accessible and welcoming space where programmes and activities can be delivered. The regenerated area will include a sensory wellbeing garden, garden room, play area with a wheelchair swing and will include an indoor area with hydrotherapy pool. The investment will help deliver cross community activities for young adults with learning disabilities, while also providing a valuable resource for local residents, families, schools, community organisations and groups to enjoy. The sensory garden, hydrotherapy pool, garden room and play equipment will help create a welcoming and accessible space for young adults with learning disabilities, their families and the wider community.
